The Challenge
The client was managing inventory across 3 warehouses using Excel spreadsheets shared over WhatsApp. Stock discrepancies were causing delivery failures 2-3 times per week, and there was no visibility into slow-moving inventory.
Our Solution
We built a full-stack PHP Laravel application with a MySQL database. Role-based access control (RBAC) allows warehouse staff, managers, and admins to have differentiated views. Real-time stock alerts trigger when quantities fall below configurable thresholds. A Bootstrap dashboard provides visual analytics on stock turnover, order fulfillment rates, and supplier performance.
The Result
Stock discrepancies reduced by 94%. Order fulfillment rate improved from 87% to 99.2%. Management reporting time cut from 4 hours/week to automated daily emails.
